When it comes to diamonds, what are the "Four Cs?"?

The term "Four Cs" refers to four qualities which can each be summarized with a single word that starts with the letter C. Specifically, they are the clarity, color, cut, and carat of the stone. When the value of a particular diamond stone is being evaluated, these are the qualities by which it will be judged.

How are dichroic glass beads made?

In order to create these beads, a thin film of metal is infused to a surface of glass. The reasons this is done is because it creates a highly attractive metal sheen for the item. Different techniques may be used to accomplish this, including traditional lampworking techniques and pressing.

Is gold okay to be used with body piercings?

It can be. Keep in mind that the gold must be of no lesser karatage than 14k, however. In addition to this, the jewelry not simply be gold-plated. Both of these matters are significant because the other metals alloyed with the gold may tarnish or, due to toxicity, cause negative reactions in their wearers.
