Childrens Jewelry
Children's jewelry is designed for kids below the age
of thirteen. Obviously, this means that it takes into account their
smaller statures. In general, different options can be purchased according
to age group. However, some kids are simply bigger or smaller than their
peers.
Another important aspect of children's jewelry is that it is designed
with safety in mind. For instance, there is a legal limit on the amount
of lead available in children's products. This has lead to recalls on
jewelry items designed for them. It is also one of the reasons that
items may include a warning about it not being intended for children
ages twelve and under.
Children's jewelry may be made out of safe materials, but not structured
in a safe way for certain age groups. It is generally recommended that
you do not ever allow your child to wear jewelry without supervision
for the first few years. This is because these small items can easily
become choking hazards. Products with sharp elements should also be
avoided.
